Ebbsfleet United winger Michael West has today agreed a two year deal with League One side Crewe Alexandra.
The 21 year old, who can play out wide or up front has passed a medical and signed on the dotted line for the Railwaymen with Ebbsfleet United receiving a nominal fee for his transfer.
West was former Fulham youth player before he joined the Blue Square Premier Club where he made his league debut for the Fleet at the age of 18 in a win over Northwich Victoria.
After featuring on a infrequent basis over the next 12 months, West would really excel for the Fleet during their promotion campaign from the Blue Square South, scoring an impressive 23 goals for the Stonebridge Road club, including two goals in a Play-Off Final win over Farnborough.
He would net eight times for the Fleet on their return to the Blue Square Premier and his talents would soon alert the Alex management team who this afternoon swooped to sign their man.
